SHIMLA: India will bid for the sixth Asian junior boxing championship at the forthcoming meeting of the Federation of Asian Amateur Boxing next month.
Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF) secretary Ashok Kumar Gongopadhyay said the federation’s general body decided at its meeting here to bid for the hosting the championship at New Delhi in 1992.
The federation of Asian amateur boxing is meeting on April 4 at Bangkok Thailand.
