Sardar Pritam Singh Sidhu, retired Inspector of Police, passed away in Edmonton On August 16th after a brief illness.

He is survived by his son, Baljit Singh (Sukhwant Kaur) and daughter, Jasbir Kaur (Dr. A.S. Sekhon), all of Edmonton. He is also survived by the families of two sons, two daughters and one sister, all residing in Punjab, by the family of his eldest son (London, England) and by numerous grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, eldest son and one daughter-in-law. The funeral was held on Saturday, August 20, 1994, at Hainstock’s Funeral Home and Crematorium located at 9810 34 Avenue N.W,, followed by bhog (prayers) at Gurdwara Siri Guru Singh Sabha Society (4504 Millwoods Road South). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, #305, 10240 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta TSN 3W6,(Courtesy: ‘The Edmonton Journal, Aug.19.94 Issue).
