TARN TARAN: The opening of illegal liquor shops in almost every village is causing great resentment among people.
During a tour of the area this correspondent observed that in every village a shop has been opened only in the past one month. People of Walipur, Jandoxe, Sarhali, Bugha, Plasaur, Daleke, Naurangabad, Teja Singh Wala, Noordi, Tharu, Doburji, Gohalwar, Panjwar, Dhotian, Goindwal, Bandala, Amarkotand others said there were no liquor shops in their respective villages earlier but the opening of these shops had caused great resentment among people.
It is alleged that there shops have been opened in connivance with officials of the Excise Department.
