VANCOUVER: I.S.Y.F, Canada is proud to announce the opening Of its Vancouver sub unit office. This offices main function will be to preach the Sikh faith and print Leaflets and material on the current struggle for freedom of the Sikh nation. This office will be called the I.S.Y.F. resource center, and will try to meet the need to know of the human rights abuses happening in India to all minority groups. This office will be run by the Vancouver sub unitof1S.Y.F.and will operate under the guidelines of the Canadian chapter office,
- Ranjit Singh Dosanjh, office secretary of I.S.Y.F. stated that as you well know I.S.Y.F. is a branch Of the Sikh Students Federation currently headed by Bhai Daljit Singh Khalsa, also member of the Panthak Committee.
In the past few years the ungrateful Indian government has been trying to portray the I.S.Y.F.as an arm-twisting organization whose concern is to support violence by militants in Punjab. The reason for this is probably because they know S.Y.F. is one of the biggest Sikh organizations in the world, so by defaming this organization they know they are destroying the very support that we are lobbying for he said.
