The following letter to the editor was actually meant for the expatrait Sikhs. It is presented to our readers for their perusal, Respected Sadh Sangat Ji, USA Canada and Europe Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

We have come to know that donations have been collected to help our family and that the same have been given to us. In this connection I may mention that so far I have received the following donations: 1. Rs 51,000 on January 14 1989. at Muktsar, by Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode and Sikh Sangat. 2. Rs 35,000 on March 18, 1989 at village Rode, by Bhai Jasbir Singh Rode and Sikh Sangat 3. 25,000 International Sikh Students Federation 4. Check of Rs one hundred thousand SGPC which has not been so far cashed deposited in the bank I have not received any other donations from any other quarter. I am living in a tin shed at Gurdwara Moti Bagh along with my family. We have no roof anywhere. The above money has been: spent on the marriage of my sister Bibi Satwant Kaur which was held on 12th of May 1989. The said check of Rs one hundred thousand lac was handed over to my mother on that day by Manjit Singh CaIcutta, Secretary SGPC.

I have spent money on daily expenses in connection with the case of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh, Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh and S. Balbir Singh. None has helped me. Even the father of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh did not spend any money on case expenses nor did Balbir’s family.

Tam thankful to the advocates who have not charged any legal fee from me. I am very much grateful to Ram Jethmalani in particular who has helped me financially, legally and in all manners and even now he has kept me as his assistant and is paying me Rs 1200 .

I appeal to Sikh Sangat not to give any money to anybody on our behalf because the same does not teach us. So far we have received nothing from abroad.

I appeal to Sikh sangat that if they want to help us they should do so directly and send the donations to the following bank by telex messages or otherwise: Rajinder Singh Saving Bank A/c No 5605 Punjab National Bank Nanakpura, New Delhi India 110021.
