SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh High Court has treated the health survey conducted by the Tribune in Himachal Pradesh as public interest litigation and served notices to the Chief Secretary and the Director, Health Services, in this regard.

A Division Bench, consisting of the Chief Justice, Gulab C. Gupta and Justice Kamlesh Sharma, took notice or the poor health services in the state and proceeded on the matter on its own motion.

In another case, the same Bench proceeded on its motion and issued notice of motion to the Director Lotteries, and the state through its Chief Secretary.

The court proceeded on motion on a letter written by Kul Rakesh Pant of Solan to the Chief Justice.
