NEW DELHI: As many as 15 people died and many were injured during the celebrations of the colorful festival of Holi in various parts of India.
Two persons died and four others were injured when Holi revelers clashed at three places in the Eastern state of Bihar a report from the state capital Patna said.
Eight diamond cutters from the western trade center of Surat were drowned while swimming at the sea resort of Ubhrat Thursday police said.
In the Holy city of Varanasi the northern state of Uttar Pradesh two young boys were killed on the spot in scooter accident tinder Cholapur police station when they were returning after celebrating Holi. A third person riding on the same scooter was seriously injured and was rushed to the district hospital.
