SRINAGAR: Hizbullah, one of the front ranking pro-Pakistan militant organizations, has asked the four militant leaders, who had offered direct talks with the Center without participation of Pakistan, to present themselves before it or otherwise face “direct action.”

In a statement issued here this week, & spokesman of the outfit said that “we ask these four leaders lo present themselves before us, failing which they will face direct action.” However, the spokesman did not specify the time and place of the “meeting.” He said that the Kashmir issue could not be solved without the participation of Pakistan. This is the first such reaction against the offer of talks with the Center by four former militant leaders Babar Badr of the Muslim janbaz Force, Imran Rahi of the Hizbul Mujahideen, Bilal Lodi of the AlBarqand Ghulam Mohiudin Lone of the Muslim Mujahideen made last week, Several other militant organizations, as also the AllParty Hurnyat Conference (APHC), have criticized the move of the four former militant leaders, The Muslim Janbaz Force and former chief of the Hizbul Mujahideen, Master Ahsan Dar, were among the few to support the move of the four former militant. Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference has sacked its working committee member Bilal Lodi from primary membership of the party.

In a statement, the Conference general secretary, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, Said party chairman Abdul Gani Lone had sacked Lodi from primary membership of the party. He said Lodhi had become a “tool in the hands” of the Central Government. Lodi’s actions encouraged antigovernment activities and helped those who were against the ongoing freedom movement the state said.
