MODESTO, CA: Baldev Singh Gill ‘was on his way to get his oil changed last Sunday when he and his two young sons spun into the guard rail, after another truck stopped abruptly in front of them.

They wore traveling over fast flowing and rain swollen Dry Creek when Arshdcep, 10 was catapulted from the truck, and fell down a 40 foot embankment into over 10 feet of water, His father jumped from the truck and into the raging torrent to save his son who could not swim, Five year old Rimi watched in amazement as his dad and brother struggled in the water.

Raja Singh Brar, Mr. Gill’s brother-in-law arrived moments later as Modesto fire fighters put the boy in a special basket and hoisted him to safety.

Father and son were treated and released from a local hospital.
