NEW DELHI: The two militants Bhai Rajvinder Singh age 18 Bhai Harbhajan Singh were Killed in shoot out in the Indian Capital New Delhi on April 7.

A constable of Delhi police claims to shot dead two militants and captured two others in the south Delhi Kailash colony.

The militants Bhai Rajvinder Singh 18 younger brother of Surjit Singh Penta who was killed in operation Black Thunder in 1988 at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.

According to a top police official the group of Punjab Ultras had plans to carry out killings blasts and create Mayhem and panic in Delhi. But police officials did not divulge details of the targets which youths had in mind.

In a relentless drive the police swooped on at least a dozen places suspected to be hide-outs of the militants in the city since Monday night.

An un-specified number of people and those suspected of harboring militants were questioned by the police. Security throughout the city was tightened.

The two captured youths Balbir Singh and Amritpal Singh both in their early 20s were remanded to police custody for 14 days be a Delhi Magisterial court.

According to deputy commissioner of police south district Neeraj Kumar the body of the killed militant Harbhajan Singh was cremated by his relatives.

However nobody came to claim the body of Penta’s brother Rajvinder Singh he said.

He said messages had been sent to Majitha in Punjab the Native place of Rajvinder Singh.

Amid tight security the two captured Ultras Balbir Singh and Amritpal Singh were produced in the New Delhi courts at Patiala house Metropolitan Magistrate Rakesh Garg remanded them to police custody till April 20.

With their faces fully covered and handcuffed the two militants were escorted by armed guards. Four police vehicles escorted them to the court premises.

After brief remand proceedings the two were swiftly whisked away by police.
