Come and enjoy these two beautiful evenings filled with melodious Shabad Kirtan, Kavi Darbar and refreshing short speeches by prominent Ragi Jathas, IGS Kirtan Groups and Campers.

GURPURABS are important days for remembering our great GURUS, exchanging gifts, visiting Gurdwaras and bowing our heads in obeisance and gratitude to our GURUS. We have so much to be grateful! So, come with the whole family. Bring your friends along and come early. We will have delicious Guru Ka Langar ready for you.

PLEASE NOTE: (1) There will be a SPECIAL ONE-HOUR SIKH HISTORY CLASS from 8-9 p.m. for all kids on both evenings. (2) This will be followed by an exchange of GURPURAB GIFTS between all participants in the age group 3-20 yrs. To be a participant, one is required to bring a small GURPURAB GIFT according to one’s age bracket. There will be three age brackets, namely: 3-7 yrs.; 8-14 yrs. and 15-20 yrs. All gifts will be collected and distributed centrally. Gifts need not be expensive but common to girls and boys. All parents are requested to encourage their kids to participate in this beautiful new project. Colorful big balloons marked with “HAPPY GURPURAB’” will be presented to all visiting kids as an IIGS GURPURAB GIFT.

* From Fwy. 5, 91 and Hwy. 90, take BEACH BLVD. (39) North, make a right on WHITTIER BLVD. (Hwy. 72), and then left on HACIENDA BLVD. Go about 1.2 miles North on HACIENDA BLVD. The IGS HOUSE will be on your left.
