AHMEDABAD (PTI): A Division: bench of ‘the Gujarat High Court his again adjourned to March 9 hearing of a civil application challenging a decision to close the sluice gates of the Narmada Dam.
The bench had on Feb.25 following a civil application filed by the Lok Adhikar Sangh (People’s Rights Group) Narmada Asargarst Sangarsh Samiti (affected People’s movement) and others directed the Federal government Gujarat stale government Sardar Sarovar Narmada corporation and Narmada control authority to clarify their position on the action taken and proposed to be taken by them on the closure of sluice gates of the dam.
