NEW DELHI: Bombay stock broker Harshad Mehta is planning another Press conference on the eve of the Indian Parliament’s session starting on July 26 to give “scientific evidence” against prime minister’s corruption; this was indicated by his advocate Ram Jathmalani. Mehta’s advocate opines that the Indian government had posted a police officer, Rajiv Mehta, to Brussels only because he then headed the special protection group and was present in prime Minister’s house on November 4, 1991, when Harshad Mehta met Rao to deliver Rs 1 crore for seeking his “blessings.” Mehta now wants the joint parliamentary committee enquiring into the securities scam to summon Mehta from Brussels to verify facts from him.
