Miss Harmona Dhaliwal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Avtar Singh Dhaliwal of Sacramento was married to Nishan Singh son of Mr. and Mrs. Manak Singh Sandhar of Yuba City on Sunday the September 25, 1988 at Jose P. Rizal Community Center Sacramento.
The marriage was performed in accordance with Sikh rites. The function was largely attended. The elites of the Sikh community of the central valley blessed the couple and congratulated the parents of the bridegroom and bride.
After the Anand Karaj ceremony the guests were entertained with sumptuous lunch. The sangeet group provided a thrilling entertainment through melodious songs and music. Some youngmen and women danced to the tune of music to express their inner joy and happiness.
