HYDERABAD: Janata Dal leader George Fernandes has dashed off a habeas corpus writ telegraphically to the Supreme Court Chief Justice M.L.Venkatachalaiah seeking direction to the Andhra Pradesh government to produce the arrested PWG leader.

Meanwhile, police authorities here confirmed that Sunday being a holiday, Seetaramiah had been produced before an executive magistrate, and that he will be produced in the court on Monday.
