The Himalayas didn’t part; Nor the oceans divide.
The fog sure did lift, To ignorance deride.
The year sixty-nine, Of century Fourteen;
Brought to Talwandee Blessings ne’er foreseen
Nanak came quietly, Fervent with God’s Name
Creator is but One; Mankind everywhere is same
Worship none, but One God. Beg of none, but Him Live humbly, honestly; Truth only is in Him.
Succeeding Nananks nine, All with message same.
Gobind did Khalsa make, Each with Singh for a name
With a spark of Divine Light, We came into the World.
The human form we got, To meditate upon His Word.
Now take Guru’s Amrit, Live by his Rehat;
Perserve for salvation; Abjure not His fiat.
Guru Gave his all, For his beloved Panth
It lies now with us, to follow the holy Granth.
