Guru Granth Sahib Foundation. Inc. is a Non-profit, Tax-exempt Religious Organization under Section (501) (c) (3) of Internal Revenue Service and is registered with the Secretary of State of California USA The Foundation was founded in 1991 to promote, propagate, teach and practice the religious tenets and beliefs of Sikh Religion. Besides the religious activities at the Gurdwara Sahib, the Foundation also serves the community through socio-cultural and educational programs such as Children’s Sunday School (soon to be converted into a Day-Care Center). Library and Seniors’ Center.
To be able to conduct the multi facet community activities, the Foundation bought an appropriate centrally located property in 1993 situated at 1805 Hill Avenue, Hayward, California. This consists of four acres of land, two big buildings (16,000 square feet), comprising two Assembly Halls, twenty rooms, kitchen, etc. plus ample parking space. The entire property Is fully functional and useable except that it needs a few repairs and remodeling.
The Foundation Is grateful to the community for helping it to purchase this property in time. Since the
only source of its ‘income’ is through weekly and monthly individual donations and special Fun drives, we request you to kindly donate generously now and later. We will try our best to be worthy of
your confidence. Please write your checks payable to G.G.S. Foundation or Sikh Temple, Hayward. With Satguru’s Blessings to each and every one of you. THANK YOU.
