Sikh Foundation of Virgina celebrated the Gurpurb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday on Friday evening Nov 2, 1990. SFV ladies group, youth group Giani Kuldeep, Singh and Bhai Jaspal Singh from Los Angeles CA, recited kirtan, Over 250 people attended this program.
On Nov 4, following the Bhog of Akhand Paath there was Assa Di War recited by Bhai Sarbjit Singh’s Jatha from New York, SFV ladies group, youth group Giani Kuldeep Singh and Jatha from New York performed the kirtan there were few kaviats recited in praise of (ruru Nanak Dev Ji. Dr. Amarjit Singh from Maryland spoke on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life over 1100 people attended this program.
