NEW DELHI: The information and broadcasting ministry has drafted concrete guidelines for ensuring a balanced coverage on India’s numerous political parties by Govt media organisations in the wake of ensuing Lok Sabha polls.
A direction has been given to the government media organisations to prevent their misuse official sources said here on Friday.
Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar has instructed the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to desist from any ¢undue coverage’ through the government media in the face of the elections.
