BOMBAY: The marathon discussion between Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and the controversial god man Chandraswamy have taken political circles in the city by storm.
During the two rounds of talks Chandraswamy has believed to have persuaded Thackeray to come out openly in support of the ID(S) govt at the center. Contrary to the Sena claim the Babri Masjid issue was not the main topic of discussion
When Swami conveyed the PM’s offer of cooperation to the Sena Chief to solve the mosque imbroglio the two leaders are said to have discussed the possibilities of a new political equation between the Sena and the Dal-S.
Having had enough with playing second fiddle to the VHP and the BJP the Sena is only too eager to the PM’s overture.
