NEW DELHI: K.P.S. Gill will continue as the Director General of Punjab Police, top Home Ministry sources said here.
The sources set at rest the speculation in some circles that Gill’s head may roll following the assassination of the Punjab Chief Minister, Beant Singh.
‘The feeling in the North Block is that nothing should be done to demoralize the Punjab Police as it had to fight against militants at the ground level.
