WN: U.N. General Secretary, Bhoutros Ghali has made an offer to Pakistan and India to mediate direct talks between the two countries. Saying that people with so much culture in common should be able to have a dialogue he hopes to sooth ruffled feathers in the subcontinent and get the various ‘factions once more to the negotiating table.
