On Oct.11,1992, Guru Gobind Singh Foundation will dedicate a special diwan to pay tributes to late Bhagat Puran Singh ji, the founder of Pingalwara (Amritsar), & monument to the spirit of selfless service, Bhagat ji left for his heavenly abode on Aug.5,1992, after serving the old, homeless and crippled for more than half a century. Guru Gobind Singh Foundation holds the honor of getting Bhagat ji nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for 1992.

As a token of our homage to the noble soul and to demonstrate the spirit of service, GGSF will have kirtan and speeches on life and accomplishments of Bhagat ji, GGSF will also coordinate Langar for 1200 homeless in Washington,

D.C., collect imperishable (canned and dry)  food for victims of Hurricane Andrew in Florida and money for the unfortunate people suffering due to floods in Pakistan.

The best homage to Bhagat ji will be to make this drive a big success. Let us all get together, share our blessings with the needy and prove to the world: that We care and Share. Pitch in, in this noble task.
