ROCKVILLE MD: Guru Gobind Singh Foundation celebrated the birthday of Khalsa Baisakhi on April 7 1991.
Dr.Pritam Singh from Monweal Canada was a key note speaker on this special occasion. Dr.P.Singh an eminent barrister enjoys the privileged of being first Asian on the Queen’s Council in England. He is actively involved in the community affairs in Montreal.
Bhai Jaspal Singh the famous ragi from Los Angeles well known for his artistic blend of melodies music with appealing explanation of Gurbani performed Kiran at the dewan He served the sangat of Washington metro area for consecutive 3 weeks.
Both Dr Pritam Singh and Raji Jaspal Singh were awarded plaques in recognition for their services to the Sikh community.
New office bearers for the Foundation were also announced. Traditionally at Guru Gobind Singh Foundation there is no election but selection of office bearers on basis of service and dedication.
