CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana High Court on July 3 adjourned a case seeking to quash an FIR against the Khalistan activist, De Sohan Singh, to July 18, Justice Swatanter Kumar adjourned the case when the state counsel, Vikas Cucceria, sought time to file a reply. “The case refers to a FIR registered against Dr. Sohan Singh who while in Amritsar jail superintendent for publishing in a Punjabi daily, the letter besides other things sought voters’ support for Khalistan candidates. Following this Dr. Sohan Singh was charged under various sections, including 3 and 4, of PADA. ‘The petitioners have sought cancellation of the chairs.
