CHANDIGARH (PTI): Seven persons-four members of a family and three militants-were killed in Punjab.
The killed militants, included a woman, who was an associate of top militant Ranjit Singh alias Happy, “Lt Gen” and “Deputy Chief” of the Bhindranwale Tiger Force of Khalistan,
Bullet riddled body of the woman militant was recovered from the field,
Meanwhile, militant Vijaypal Singh killed in Jalandhar district Vijaypal Singh was arrested by Delhi police while his two associates Rajwinder Singh and Mukhtiar Singh escaped.
Another dismissed constable Gurjinder Singh associate of Vijaypal Singh was still absconding.
Gunmen broke into the house of Karamjit Singh in Tarkhana Majara village of Jalandhar district and shot him, his wife Kulwant Kaur and brothers Paramjit Singh and Kashmir Singh.
Reports said three militants Vijaypal Singh, Mukhtiar Singh and Rajwinder Singh were taken to the village when their associates attacked the police party.
