JHALANDHAR (PTI): Four persons died after consuming “thara” (country Liquor)at village Ramgarh in Jalandhar district in Punjab on April 12 police said.
The victims identified as Gian Chand Charan Dass Alias Sodhi Madan Lal and Kulwinder Kumar was taken to a hospital in Ludhiana where they were declared dead.
Another person identified as Harbans Lal of Ramgarh village who also drank the liquor with the four others was admitted in Phillaur civil hospital. He was in a serious condition.
