Old men sleep a lot. That is the experience of Rajiv Gandhi.

During his recent visit to Bombay the Congress (I) boss visited the ailing Russi Karanjia Blitz boss and the newest Rajya Sabha appointee in hospital.

Gandhi says Sunday Mid-day also paid another courtesy call on another patient also connected with newspapers. That was the media baron Ram Nath Goenka.

RG had expressed a desire to visit ailing Sethji. So Murli Deora fixed it. After all Deora and RNG often play bridge together.

The Congress (I) boss arrived at the hospital but was told that Sethji was sleeping. RG stayed for a while but Sethji did not wake up. So RG left without saying the ritual “How are you?” and “get well soon!” the two expressions he proposed to utter while there.
