SRINAGAR (PTI): Five people including two securitymen were killed and four wounded overnight in the strife-tom Kashmir valley of India either’s nor hem most Jammu and Kashmir State where life remained paralyzed for the second successive day.

An official spokesman said police picked up a bullet-riddled body in Sonamarg while another body was found in Bandipora in Baramulla district.
He said one of the three securitymen injured on Wednesday died late Friday.
With one more person succumbing lo injuries the death toll in Thursday’s firing incident at Amirakadal rose to seven official sources said.
Shops business establishments’ educational institutions post offices banks government and semi-government offices remained closed Saturday throughout the valley in protest against the incident.
Several organisations of traders and manufacturers have demanded a judicial inquiry into the firing.
