COLOMBO,SRI LANKA: An overloaded ferry capsized in rough seas off northeast Sri Lanka on Jan.25 and as many as 40 were feared dead, military officials said.
By nightfall, 14 bodies were recovered.
The wooden ferry was carrying nearly 100 passengers, including 17 soldiers.
