LUDHIANA: The Food Corporation of India Staff Union has taken strong exception to the beating up of an FCI employee, Kuldip Singh, by Jagraon CIA staff on September 29 when he was on duty at the railroad, Jagraon, for loading a food grain special. The union said it had brought the incident to the notice of the SSP, Jagraon but no action had so far been taken. The union had threatened to launch an agitation if the police fail to take action against the CIA officials.
