NEW DELHI: The Center is understood to have told the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, that a number of steps had already been initiated under the political and economic package for the stats and his outbursts against the government were unwarranted.
Sources in the Union Home Ministry, while expressing concern over some of the recent statements made by Dr. Abdullah, said political process in the state had already begun. The Center had released a few prominent leaders recently, In fact, Dr. Abdullah had been requested several times to reactivate his National Conference.
The sources said the Center was willing to negotiate on any of the pending political problems such as granting autonomy and the 1953 status to the state only with an elected government in the state. The Center could not appoint Dr. Abdullah as the sole representative of the state, “Let an elected government come into being and we will discuss the “issues,” said an official.

It has become a duty to assist the investment and immigration victims, get the stories from both sides and highlight within the Sikh com~ munity in Canada and abroad for wider attention and precaution ahead.
