JAMMU: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and the president, National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, has questioned the veracity of the Union Home Minister, Mr. S.B. Chavan’s statement, accusing the US of meddling in Kashmir and trying to scuttle the elections in the state.
Addressing a well-attended public meeting, organized here, to celebrate the 9ist birth anniversary of his father, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah, the NC Chief asked the Home Minister to prove his allegations and share the: evidence of US interference with leaders of all political parties, He said that if true, all political parties should untimely counter US designs.
