NEW DELHI (PTI): The former chief minister said the dithering attitude of the Center on deciding on the quantum of autonomy and announcing a political and economic package were coming in the way of starting a politics process.
Dr_Abdullah said the Delhi agreement of 1952 could form the basis of quantum of autonomy and wanted the Center to discuss this with other political parties from Jammu and Kashmir and at the national level.

The former chief minister said the Center should make an “open offer” to all militant groups and their over ground organizations to hold a dialogue paving the way for elections in the state
Cautioning that the time for a political solution was running out, Dr_Abdullah said only when the process of quantum of autonomy was decided, and then alone his party would go in for launching a political movement.
“We must have some ground to wean away the people from guns,” he said.
