CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO: A Gurmat Camp for the Sikh youth was organized at Gurdwara Sahib of Cambridge Ontario from Aug.27,93 in which 85 girls and boys aged 820 years participated. These campers came from Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton and Toronto. The aim of the Camp was to enhance the self-esteem of the Sikh Youth through knowledge and practice of their faith, awareness about the relevance and richness of Sikh history and heritage. The daily program began with Gurbani Kirtan, ardas and Hukamnama from Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Then classes for different age groups were con ducted by Dr.Gurbakhsh Singh Gill, Prof. Pritam Singh Grewal and S.Gurdey Singh Sangha. The schedule included question answer sessions, Sports and training in behaving properly while sitting in Sangat and Pangat. The Gurdwari Management and the parents made every effort to make the campus effective and success ful as possible.

As guest speakers S.Harpreet Singh Gill, S.Baljinder Singh Sidhu and S.Guru Fateh Singh shared their experiences with the campers.

Sri Guru Singh Sabha Waterloo County Cambridge awarded certificates to the campers and shields to the three teachers.
