LUDHIANA: The Sant Sipahi Front has asked the Prime Minister, Mr Y.P. Singh, to order the release of innocent Sikh youths languishing in jails and put an end to police repression in the state. Colonel Harbant Singh Kahlon, president of the front and Mrs Bimal Khalsa, MP said in a statement here that the visit of the Prime Minister and the all-party meetings would not serve any purpose unless the fake encounters and the harassment of the parents of the militants was stopped.
