NEW DELHI (PTI): The Bharatiya Janata Parly (BJP), said it was up to the election commission or the home ministry to decide on the holding of elections in the four former BJP ruled north Indian states.
Reacting to the reported Con press statement that elections 10 these assemblies would be held in October or November, Bhandari said “we would welcome the election commission or the home ministry saying this rather than Congress party spokesman.
Federal rule was imposed in the four north Indian states Utar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh following the demolition of the disputed Babri Masjid structure at Ayodhya on December 6 last year.
