There is a limit to even loyalty. Normally no friend would stand up for another in the case of say murder. Mr Solarz has never condemned the mass murders rapes and torture of the Sikhs Muslims and other minorities by the Indian state. He rather goes out of his way to champion Indian ‘democracy’ in this nation.

Recently Mr Solarz outdid even himself in pointing an accusing finger at Sikhs for the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. So far not even an Indian government agency has do so. That remark was extremely irresponsible especially in a nationally televised show. Had it been on the air in India at that time it would most certainly have triggered riots against Sikhs on a scale only India is capable of. Mr Solarz would do well not to be more loyal than the proverbial king. Millions look up to him as a national leader. He needs to stop passing Judgement so easily and so frequently in the defense of a criminal friend. Mr Solarz stands to damage his own credibility.

Stephen Solarz solicits and receives large contributions from the Indian community for his efforts. In one such solicitation letter he wrote: as a result of my efforts it (India) has gotten over $2 billion over the last 13 years. Gen Zia the late president of Pakistan called Solarz the voice of India in the US Congress. Solarz took that as a compliment. Large sums are no doubt invested by India on such ‘friends’.

Many protests against Solarz’s public utterances against Sikhs have been received here. Some have transcripts attached. One common thread in these protests is the distress and lament over the incomprehensible loyalty and support of a Jew for a repressive corrupt and murderous regime. Has he forgotten what Hitler did to his people. Tell him India is doing the same to the Sikhs.

What Solarz defends as a democracy is a casteist Brahman oligarchy. The end of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty does not mean anything How come America never had dynastic rule? Because America is a democracy.

Deceit and treachery are bred into the Brahman mind. Chanakya treatise on statecraft pre-dates Machiavelli’s ‘The Prince’ by over a thousand years and many consider the older work to be superior.

There could be no better time for Mr Solarz to witness Indian ‘democracy’ at work than now. The farce of elections is in progress. The exercise is only half-way through over 600 people have died in violence and 1000 polling stations have been captured. The ballot boxes are ‘replaced’ and entire consignments of ballot papers stolen. Elections have never been free or fair in India.

Perhaps Mr Solarz can explain why all the jails in Punjab are full of Sikh youths without trial for years or why no human rights organization is allowed into Punjab and Kashmir. When was the last western media person allowed to visit these regions?

Mr Solarz’s hostility towards the Sikhs and Kashmiris is unfair and unjustified if the only reason is the support of a friend He holds too important a public position to be so hopelessly partisan. He needs to study the history and nature of the problem before parroting India’s propaganda. Mr Solarz finds it difficult to use the word ‘Sikh’ without adding ‘terrorist’ to it. We doubt he has even a vague idea as to why the Sikhs are demanding independence. Or why the Kashmiris Assamese and Tamils among others have joined the Sikhs in opting for separate homelands.
