BHOPAL (PTI): The election commission has ordered a repoll in seven polling stations in four assembly constituencies of the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh where the first phase of polling took place Nov.24.
The state chief electoral officer Said the repoll would be held on Friday in the Niwa polling station (Teonthar Assembly constituency) in Rewa district, in Naindhara polling station (Banda contingency) in Sagar district, the Piprua polling station (Gird assembly constituency) in Gwalior district and four stations in behind town.
Over 20.8 million votes are eligible to exercise their franchise to decide the fate of 1,872 candidates, including 98 women, in fray in the second phase.
A tight security cover has been thrown around 24,301 booths Spread over 22 districts where balloting lakes place on Saturday.
