SRINAGAR: Seventeen people, including a deputy superintendent of police and six militants, were killed and three persons abducted in militancy ridden Kashmir valley during the past 24 hours.
Abdul Rashid Khan, a DSP at police headquarters, was killed when militants hurled grenades and opened fire on a fleet of government vehicles.
