The amiable Dr, Mahil came to Stockton in 1982 and started practicing gastroenterology.
He did his M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College Patiala and post-graduation in U.S.A.
He became member of the Sikh Educational & Cultural Organization which organized Sunday school, student summer camp and published books and pamphlets on Sikh religion.
He has a clarity of thought and logic in his speech. He served as a trustee of the Gurdwara in the critical period and also helped and arranged assistance to Sikh refugees of Delhi.
His wife Parminder is very social. The couple is quite fond of hosting parties. They have two cute children daughter Sabrina and son Ambreesh.
