DR. JAGJIT S. RAJU was born at village Assikalan, District Ludhiana, in 1949. His father S. Sarwan Singh Raju was 4 prominent person of the area. He completed M.B.BS. in 1972 from Government Medical College, Patjala. Dr. Raju migrated to US.A. in 1974. After doing his residency in Ohio and Michigan, he started his own private practice in San Jose in 1979. Dr. Raju specializes in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is now consultant at various hospitals in San Jose. Dr. Raju is also teaching at Stanford University and is also an assistant clinical professor at Stanford. He is member of numerous medical organizations and social, clubs.
In spite of his busy schedule and time consuming medical practice, Dr. Raju is associated with the organization working for the construction of gurdwara in San Jose as member of the Five Member advisory committee. He takes active interest in the promotion of Sikh religion.
