TRACY, Ca. Accepting the position of Medical Director of Tracy is Dr. Harpreet S. Grewal, a local family practice physician. Dr. Grewal joined the Tracy Medical Group at 500 East in July, 1985.
A native of India, he received his M.D. in 1980 at Government Medical College in Patiala in the Punjab. After coming to the United States, he completed a year of pediatrics training at Brechenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. He was a resident in family practice at Cook County Hospital in Chicago for a year and then completed a two year residency in family practice at San Jose Hospital. During his medical training he cared for geriatric patients.
Dr. Grewal is Board Certified by the American Family Practice. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the San Joaquin County Medical Society.
Dr. Grewal and his wife, Sukhbir, reside in Tracy with two children, Gagan and Ameet.
As the Medical Director, Dr. Grewal is looking forward to working with the staff of Carriage of Tracy to assure quality care and quality life for each resident.
