LOS ANGELES: In the city of Arcadia in Los Angeles county. God blessed Dr. Amrit Singh with a second son on May 11992 at 0310 hours early morning time the Amrit-Vela of the Sikhs. Sardami Harjasbinder Kaur Singh gave birth to the new-born through normal delivery. The baby boy weighed 7.50 pounds.
As with their first son Jujhar Singh this was also a test tube baby. In this procedure the ovaries are stimulated with medicines eggs are recovered with laparoscopy and fertilized with sperm in the test tube. These Gametes as these are called are directly injected into the uterus which is prepared for two weeks. Remaining eggs can be stored for future use. Mrs. Singh was lucky that this procedure was successful in the first attempt. The Singh’s Fertility specialists are Dr.Paulo Sarafini and Joel Betzofin who practice in Pasadena. In addition to the advances in medical technology Dr.Singhand their family feel that they have been able to have children because of grace of God Almighty and due to prayers of the public the Sadh-Sangat.
Some of their friends were al-ready saying that it would be a boy this time and they should name him Zorawar Singh to make a good pair with Jujhar Singh. As people’s voice is God’s voice surely there came a boy and above all the Singhs had order taken from Shri Guru Granth Sahib the holy book of the Sikhs for the first letter of the name which came out to be ‘J’ as is shown in the above order. And hence the boy was named Zorawar Singh. People are further forecasting a completion of the historic foursome with two more boys. Only God knows the future design.
Dr.Singh and family thank God and all the public for their blessings and pray to God earnestly and whole heartedly to give children to every needy family.
