Sir,
Today we boast of man’s progress in science, we boast of our civil behavior. In reality, man was more civilized in the jungles the other big difference is that we were natural than our phony and crooked ways of today.
Troops massacred students in the Tiananmen Square, who were asking for democratic rights, and most of the countries in the world expressed horror and condemned the government action. Strange as it may seem, far worse crimes against helpless Sikhs are being committed daily in India, since June 1984.
They (Sikhs) are also asking for the freedom from the brutal oppression by the Hindu government. No one raised a single voice against the torture and killing of Sikh men, women and children that is taking place for the past several years now. This silence of the International Community is a tribute to the ability of today’s phony world to close its eyes and minds to the evil of torture and slaughter of Sikhs under the garb of democracy and secularism. It’s not only a question of speaking up for the human rights of Sikhs in India, the real question is that the western world is busy aiding the Indian government in their development so that they (the Hindu government) can keep on perpetrating the crimes against humanity and for few crummy trade dollars, the double standard of the west is quite clear. At the same time the Hindus are taking pleasure in the misery of minorities in India, Sikhs are bravely doing their best to free themselves. Finally, the truth will prevail. The sacrifices of Sikhs have been great and many and the struggle for freedom has been intense. The Sikhs will never tolerate the barbarious acts against them and will never forgive it. The marvel bankrupt world has to come to its senses.
