Sir,
Re! “Double standard or the rotten standard”
It is regrettable that twelve people died in Lithuania when Russian Army opened fire. The leaders of the Western world are up in arms. The same thing happened when a couple of students got killed in China. One wonders if they are expressing real Concerns for the freedom of the oppressed ones. The lips of these pretenders are sealed when thousands of Sikhs are being mercilessly tortured and killed in India for the past one decade The Indian Independence Act of 1947 states “Power is being transferred to Indian hands on the clear understanding that the future constitution of India shall provide for special rights and privileges to the Sikhs”. Instead of nights and privileges Sikhs received slavery oppression and killings by torture. The western leaders have shut their eyes and ears while sealing their lips on the plight of the Sikhs in India. Is this a double standard or a rotten standard of the western leaders in the matter of respect for human rights! May their senses become dead instead of cheating the cause of human rights. The Khalsa shall continue its struggle to break the shackles of slavery.
