PATNA: Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar on Wednesday appealed to the people not to vote for the “saboteurs” of the JD-S government al the center.
“The people must be careful before exercising their voles. They must keep in mind those who sabotaged my government”. He told his first press conference here after dissolution of the Lok Sabha.
The Prime Minister however said that he would like to refrain from making any comments on the role of the Congress (I) in bringing down his government.
Asked to comment on the patch-up bid by the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mr Mulayam Singh Yaday between the Janata Dal and Janata Dal (S) he said “there is nothing wrong in it. It is always good to get old friends together”.
He however parried questions if the JD-S would like to forge any electoral alliances with other parties “Let the right time come” he said.
