GUWAHATE: Indian Union of Muslim League (1UML) president G.M.Banatwalla Last week cautioned the Union Government “not to try the patience of Muslims” on the construction of a mosque in Ayodhya.
Addressing a press conference here, Banatwalla said Muslims would not make any compromise ‘on the issue and that there was no scope for any further dialogic on it.
He said the site of the demolished structure in the adjoining Wag land should be handed over to the Muslims al the earliest.
“The Prime Minister is personally responsible for initiating a dialogue for building the mandir without specifying the place and the trust 19 whom the responsible it would be entrusted,” he said.
When asked whether the 1UML would sit for a tripartite dialogue with the Vistiwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Union Government of soft out the temple issue Mr. Banatwalla replied in the negative.
“There is na scope for further dialogue The government should hot try the patience of the Muslims and the arca should be handed “Over to them in the earthiest,” he said.
