BHADRAK (ORISSA)(PTI): In a Classic instance of canine fidelity towards humans, two stray at kept quiet vigil over a newborn infant ironically declared dead by doctors of a government hospital here.
After the baby was declared still born by the doctors, the infant’ father and uncle dumped the infant in a nearby field.
The next morning, however, saw the baby alive and kicking in solemn Custody of the dogs.
The baby was immediately taken to the hospital for attention.
The mother of the infant belonged to Samu kapada village of the eastern Indian state of Orissa.
