YUBA CITY, Ca. S. Didar Singh Bains, President W.S.O. International, welcomed the release of the five Sikh High Priests, and forty Jodhpur detainees. It was only a small positive step and does not reflect any serious change in Indian government’s policy, he said. He hoped that the High Priests will provide the correct direction and work in close coordination with all those organizations that are striving to establish Khalistan. The Sikh nation has reached a point where any deviation from the objective of Khalistan will not be tolerated, he said.

Didar Singh also described Mr. Joe Clark’s letter to the Provincial governments asking them to boycott Sikh organizations as unfortunate and complete capitulation to Indian pressure.

Reacting to the alleged threat by a Sikh to blow up Canadian Embassy, he said such threats are the handiwork of the Indian intelligence men who want to tarnish the Sikh image. “We have no quarrel with any government except the Indian occupation of the Sikh homeland,” he said.
